The Music... |
|
Although the band had a long and busy performing career, there are only a few examples of recordings they made which have come to light.
It is known that in the 1960’s, some practice (or Rehearsal!!) sessions were recorded using a domestic reel-to-reel tape recorder. Whilst the music remains, the standard of recording reflects the times and technology available.
If you would like to hear a track from these recording sessions with the band playing ‘Raz-ma-taz Polka’ watch this video:
During the 1980’s, a live performance at the Golden Calf, Hesleden was also produced, and made available on cassette at subsequent performances.
If you would like to hear a track from the recording session “Live at The Golden Calf” with the band playing ‘Together Again’ watch this video:

We hope to add to these in the future.
It is also believed that a BBC television recording of the band playing at the Morecambe Country Music Festival in 1990 was made and released on video, however no copies of this have been traced to date. |
